  • End-of-life care focuses on spiritual and emotional support, as well as providing physical comfort for the dying person.

  • Hospice care should be introduced when medical treatments can no longer cure their disease or when the burden of treating symptoms outweighs the benefits of treatment.

  • An End-of-Life Doula works hand-in-hand with your existing hospice care team. A Doula will often remain in your home for 24-hour periods in order to provide relief for caregivers.  A Doula is familiar with all aspects of the dying process and can recognize each individual’s pathway. A Doula will ensure that wishes are honored with dignity and compassion.
